Specifications include, but are not limited to: Danbury Fire Department shall provide a flat level testing area with water supply to fill drafting tank and use hose testing equipment. An aerial driver will be available on day of Aerial testing. The awarded vendor is solely responsible to provide any and all other materials, tools, and labor necessary to complete the required testing. Vendor shall work under the general supervision of the Captain of Apparatus and/or their designee. All technicians must be properly licensed. FIRE HOSE & APPLIANCE/NOZZLE TESTING; 1. Test all hose, nozzles and appliances to NFPA 1962- Standard for the Care, Use, Inspection, Service Testing and Replacement of Fire Hose, Couplings, Nozzles, and Fire Hose Appliances 2. Provide on-site technicians with testing equipment to include mobile pump testing system 3. All hose removed, tested, labeled and repacked on all apparatus by vendor supplied technicians 4. Provide complete computerized report 5. Tag all failures out of service PUMP TESTING; 1. Apparatus fire pumps are to be tested in the provided testing area. 2. Test all fire pumps to NFPA Standard 1911- Standard for the Inspection, Maintenance, Testing, and Retirement of In-Service Vehicles 3. Provide complete computerized testing report for all testing 4. Place inspection sticker on each pump tested.
