Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project Approach 1. The Contractor must have extensive experience performing searches for higher education clients with specific experience with top level administrative positions of colleges and universities. 2. The Contractor should demonstrate a national presence and previous experience identifying and recruiting a diverse pool of candidates who may be in the job market (active) or who may not be actively searching for a new position (passive). 3. The successful Contractor shall work with JCCC to coordinate all aspects of the search process. The services provided by the Contractor shall include, but may not be limited to the following: 4. The Contractor shall advise the Board of Trustees and Presidential Search Committee Chair of best practices and strategies for recruiting a highly qualified, diverse pool of candidates. 5. The Contractor shall seek to identify a diverse pool of qualified candidates which may include national, regional, and local candidates. 6. The Contractor shall design advertising materials, if necessary. 7. The Contractor shall provide regular (at minimum, monthly) status updates, either in person or using appropriate communication technology, to the Board of Trustees and Presidential Search Committee Chair. 8. The Contractor shall be responsible for reviewing the background and credentials of all finalists, including background checks and information and news searches, and provide detailed written reports on each. 9. The Contractor will participate in all interviews and provide candidate summaries to the Presidential Search Committee Chair. 10. The Contractor may be requested to administer personnel evaluation tools of the finalist(s) to assist in evaluation of fitness for the specific position and the organizational culture.
