Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Education and Business Summit (EBS) is a statewide professional development opportunity for Career and Technical Education administrators, teachers, career guidance, and business and industry professionals. It serves 1,000 – 2,200 people each year. A Contractor is required to meet the needs of the conference for the Office of Career and Technology Education (OCTE). The expectations of this service are detailed below. 1. Contractor shall have a representative attend all planning sessions for the Education and Business Summit scheduled by the Office of Career and Technology Education and conducted in Columbia, SC and/or scheduled onsite at the venue. 2. Contractor shall develop, in conjunction with the Office of Career and Technology Education, specific schedules for various components of the EBS. Schedules must ensure the timely delivery of EBS materials and support the EBS objectives. Examples of such schedules include the following: i. development and distribution of registration materials; ii. confirmation and contracting with keynote speakers; and iii. development and layout of the EBS program and other EBS materials.
