The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of specialized professional service, Support Service Provider (SSP) Program, that services Deaf-blind, Deaf Senior, and Deaf-plus individuals at no cost to the qualified consumer/community members. The Offeror, Support Service Provider Agency, will be qualified and knowledgeable about the appropriate and adequate procurement, functions, case managements and services as requested or directed by the New Mexico Commission for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons (hereafter NMCDHH) and eligible community members. The service procured will be maintained by the Offeror with the intent of fulfilling NMCDHH’s goals of increasing communication and community access for New Mexicans who are Deaf-blind, Deaf Senior, and Deaf-plus. The Offeror, Support Service Provider Program Agency, must provide qualified and trained Support Service Providers (SSP) and case managers with the requisite experience. The Offeror will work collaboratively with NMCDHH’s assigned Contract Administrator to reach out to interested and qualified New Mexicans.
