Specifications include, but are not limited to: Service shall be performed once each state fiscal year and apply to all devices whether the instrument controls, indicates or records and shall include adjustment to obtain optimum operating condition. A. Clean all components of all systems. B. Check operational parameters of all systems. C. Measure power supply to components. D. Activate and verify circuits. E. Verify functionality of components of all systems. F. Exercise and scan command function. G. Verify displays, printouts and logs. H. Test/reset, alarm/return to normal. I. Check for excessive electronic noise on transmission loop. J. Reduce electronic noise. K. Check for latest revision of 'executive' software. L. Check for latest revision of Programmable-Read-Only-Memory micro-circuits. M. Check error indicator incidence level channel by channel. N. Reduce error incidence to acceptable level. O. Replace defective light bulbs and broken glass rods. P. Test for operation and timing of coded stations. Q. Test bells, horns and chimes for maximum audibility. R. Test annunciators for proper indication. S. Test auxiliary equipment ie. doorholder - fan shut-down etc. T. Clean film/debris from smoke/heat/duct detectors. 1. Sensitivity test non-analogue smoke detectors are to be completed every 2 years. 2. Recalibrate analogue devices to manufacturers specifications. 3. Test rate of rise feature for non-pin type heat detectors. 4. Test all fixed temperature heat detectors per manufacturers’ specification. U. Level two and three software maintenance is included. V. All software relating to print and display functions are included. W. Maintenance of customer data file is included. X. All service and inspections shall comply with current NFPA standards.
