The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) issues this Request for Proposals to solicit proposals for qualified experienced financially sound, and responsible public relations firms to perform the services in accordance with the specification included herein: • A public relations agency or firm focusing primarily on managing a company's reputation and public image through strategic communication. This includes media relations, crisis management, press releases, event planning, influencer outreach, and reputation management. • Media Relations: Developing relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets to disseminate positive news stories about KCTCS achievements, programs, and initiatives. This involves crafting press releases, pitching stories to journalists, and organizing media events. • Crisis Communication: Providing guidance and support in managing communications during crises or emergencies. This includes developing crisis communication plans, training staff on proper procedures, and serving as a spokesperson when necessary. • Community Engagement: Facilitating community outreach efforts to increase awareness and participation in KCTCS programs and events. This may involve organizing community forums, partnering with local organizations, and coordinating volunteer opportunities. • Social Media Management: Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance KCTCS's online presence and engage with students, alumni, and the community. This includes creating content, monitoring conversations, and analyzing metrics to measure effectiveness. • Publicity Campaigns: Designing and executing targeted publicity campaigns to promote specific programs, events, or initiatives offered by KCTCS.
