Specifications include, but are not limited to: GCPS Maintenance District will determine which ofthe following three (3) floor treatments will be utilized for each specific gymnasium. 1. Restore - Clean, burnish and restore gloss, appearance and performanceof existing finish. 2. Recoat- Preparation ofsurface and finish recoating over an existing finish. This will usually involve two finish coats ofthe BONA Sport SuperSport product. Submit a separate SF price for the addition of a 3rd coat; if it is required, and the price per SF of a single coat if that is all that is needed. 3. Refinish -Complete removal ofexisting finish down to the base wood, preparation ofwood surface and application ofnew finish. This will alsorequire new game lines and logos to be painted on the floor during the process. • All preparation and application processes and products used must be compliant with the recommendations and specifications ofBONA Sport for theirSuperSport product. Contractor may refer to their web site for specific details and information. • The painting of game lines and logos will include all of the existing standard basketball and volleyball court lines. The center court logo of the specific school. Any additional artwork, such as school names, mascots, end lines, letter, etc. will be handled as a separate item to the contract and will be paid for directly by the school requesting the work. Information for each of the school logos has been provided as an attachment to this specification. With regard to the size of the school logos shown in Attachment B, we suggest that each bidder base the estimated logo cost on a maximum dimension of 16 feet for the logos. Alternatively, each bidder may feel free to inspect each of the high school sites and obtain actual dimensions of the existing logos. • A complete listing of school sites with main and auxiliary floor information has been provided.
