Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1. Provide on-site Optometry Services on an as needed basis and/or as scheduled by the Hospital. 3.2. Provide eye glass frames and cases currently manufactured and available in a variety of eye sizes, temple lengths, bridge sizes, etc., as authorized by the Specialty Clinic Manager or designee and which meets the following minimum specifications: 3.2.1. Rec frame made of a soft bendable yet durable nylon material; include temples (Rec specs Maxx 10 or equal). The frame and temple shall contain no metal. 3.2.2. 100% plastic nylon frames which contain no metal in the cores of the temples and no metal screws. The frame fronts are one solid piece and the temples are held in with plastic posts; Women and Men. 3.2.3. Cases shall be provided for all eyeglasses. 3.2.4. Provide percentage off discounts on any parts such as arms, screws, nuts, etc. needed for eyeglasses. 3.2.5. Nose rest, plastic. 3.2.6. Color for eyeglasses frames and cases have no restriction. 3.3. Maintain and dispense diagnostic pharmaceutical agents in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and county laws and guidelines. 3.4. Optical laboratories must provide lenses and conform in materials and prescription processing to current standards of the American National Standard Institute. 3.5. Provide the following specific follow-up services: 3.5.1. Ensure an initial fitting and adjustment of eyewear within 30 days of onsite product delivery date. Additional adjustments, as required, shall be provided at no cost for the lifetime of the product. 3.5.2. Corrective eye glass frames after examination shall be provided within thirty (30) days.
