The Weston Board of Education (the “Board”) is inviting qualified proposers to submit bids for the furnishing of outplaced student transportation services for the Weston Public Schools for a 3-year contract beginning July 1, 2024. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to provide a sufficient number of vehicles and operators, with sufficient capabilities to adequately meet the needs of the Weston Board of Education. All vehicles will have valid Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles operating certificates and be maintained in a safe and suitable condition for operation. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to provide safe, proper, and appropriate maintenance on vehicles during the term of this contract. Vehicles used to transport students shall not display any advertisement, political or otherwise, either inside or outside of the vehicle without the expressed written consent of the Weston Board of Education. All vehicles must be maintained in a neat and clean condition, both inside and out, at all times that the weather permits.
