Specifications include, but are not limited to: Build and install 8' x 14' gable kennel, shingle roof. Kennel must have an outdoor run and indoor feeding room with a partition for storage. Must have 1 window, large dog door, A/C, and heat. Location: Sutherlin, Oregon, 97479. Desired completion date: 30 days after project award. Tasks: 1. Level area, approximately 16’ x 20’, where dog kennel will be placed. This area has a current gravel base and will require minimal grading. (See photos below) 2. Graded gravel area must allow water to run away from the kennel and residence. 3. Install 8’ x 14’ dog kennel, centered, on excavated area. 4. Trench, and backfill, electrical, approximately 75’, to kennel site and install on/in kennel. 5. Kennel Details: (See provided photos of an existing dog kennel to match). • 8’ x 14’ Gable Dog Kennel w/ Shingle Roof (Shingle Color Black, Presidential Shingles) • 12” Gable end roof extensions • Insulated Floor Including: ½” Bottom plywood sheathing, R11 Insulation between floor joists, ¾” Plywood floor sheathing. • LuxGuard, or equivalent, smooth rubber flooring. Approx. 112 sq. ft. • Interior wall (Create separate 8’ run from kennel area) • 36” Fiberglass Pre-hung Entrance Door w/ out-swing. • One 24” x 24” Vinyl slider window • Dual Flap Aluminum dog door for 100 lb. dog. To be installed in wall between run and kennel. • Heavy Gauge Chain-link or welded wire kennel panels. Three sides of run area (end panel to have entrance gate to run area). These panels must be installed full height to avoid the K-9 from exiting the run area. One panel, wall to wall w/ gate, in kennel area to separate kennel from storage area. This panel to run parallel creating a 4’ kennel space. • Wall mounted air conditioner, sized for kennel area. • Wall mounted energy efficient heater sized for kennel area. • Electrical package to include: 2 interior outlets (one near A/C unit and the second near heater source), 2 ceramic light sockets and LED bulbs (one centered in kennel area and the second centered in the run), One exterior LED Flood light installed adjacent to 36” pre-hung door, two light switches (one to control the two ceramic light sockets and the second to control the exterior LED Flood light). • Finished Interior: Insulate walls (R15) and ceiling (R19) / walls and ceiling sheeted w/ ½” sanded fir plywood. • Board and batten siding (See photos below of an existing dog kennel to match). • Paint interior and exterior of building/kennel w/ two coats of paint (standard colors chosen by customer).
