Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Consolidate hypervisor tech to one underlying software. 2. Upgrade storage and at least 4 nodes of compute (year one) a. Year two: Add in 2 more nodes of compute and possibly refresh backup site. 3. Right sized for the next 5 years of growth. 4. Allow for central management of all nodes, storage, networking and VMs. Server Resources: At a minimum the data center should have the following capacities by year two 4 primary physical compute nodes Minimum of 2 backup compute nodes right sized with appropriate secondary storage for DR use. 512GB RAM per server (2tb across the cluster), minimum chip size of 64GB o Please note how many slots will be available for future expansion Minimum of dual Intel Xeon Silver CPUs per node o Minimum of 10 cores per CPU Host Networking must support a minimum of 4 x 25gb SFP+ ports, across a minimum of 2 network cards. 3-year warranty o Provide option for 5 year up-front Integrated offline management (ILO, iDrac or equivalent) with KVM support for each host. The Town will accept hyper converged options in the assessment of this RFP Storage Resources: iSCSI preferred, but other IP alternatives will be considered. Minimum 75TB total useable capacity Synchronous replication between two data centers, ability to operate from one storage node for planned and unplanned events or patching. Minimum of 2 x 25gb SFP+ NIC’s on each storage node
