Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall make a field inspection of the project site and determine the project cost, including the extent to which all tools, lifts, scaffolding, equipment and labor methods shall be necessary to properly remove all the existing roof material down to the deck, repair or replace deck materials as-needed, and install the new roof (any costs associated with rental equipment shall be included in the contractor’s bid). An aerial drone video of the roof was recently completed and is included. Successful contractors shall submit for approval the manufacturer’s product information sheet describing each material to be used on the project to the project manager. Materials will not be accepted as final without approval prior to their installation at the building. Construction will need to be coordinated with the City to minimize impact on daily users of the City Facility. All final site Clean up must be approved by the Project Manager prior to final acceptance by the City of Canton, GA.
