Paint approximately 33% of the dorm rooms, dorm halls, and dorm lounges, and 20,000 additional square feet of office, hallway, meeting, and academic space at its campus located at 401 Railroad Avenue, Hartsville SC 29550. The campus is comprised of one facility that is approximately 206,000 square feet. Contractor Shall: Use Sherwin Williams interior latex satin on sheetrock ceilings, walls, and masonry walls. Match current colors. Apply two (2) coats of paint. Repair all damaged areas of sheetrock including pinholes, dents, larger holes, torn sheetrock paper, etc. After repairs, sand smooth and apply one coat of primer. Use Sherwin Williams Pro-industrial pre-catalyzed epoxy on door frames and other metal components. Apply two (2) coats. On damaged, scratched, rusted, metal components: apply one (1) coat DTM acrylic primer followed by two (2) coats Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial Pre-catalyzed epoxy. Protect Furnishings: All furnishings must be moved and covered. At the completion of the work, all furnishings must be returned to their pre-work positions. Protect Floors: All floors must be protected with plastic sheeting. Protect Wall and Ceiling-Mounted Devices: All wall and ceiling-mounted devices (fire safety devices, switch plates, cable trays, wireless ports, etc.) must be covered prior to the start of painting and uncovered at the conclusion of work. All painting will be inspected by the GSSM facility maintenance Director after each step of the process. Call for an inspection, and you will receive a written inspection report. Apply the first coat of paint to obtain 90-95% coverage, call for an inspection, and you will receive a second written report. Apply the second coat and call for inspection again.
