Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. DEMOLITION: Contractor will provide all equipment, labor, materials, and any needed rental equipment to remove, replace and dispose of the Lab HVAC system, ducting as outlined in specification 23.16.00. 2. Contractor shall provide temporary portable air conditioning or heating to the Laboratory space while the HVAC system is being replaced. All work must pre-approved by the local TXDPS Building Owner and the DPS Contract Monitor. TXDPS is not purchasing these units and they along with accessories will be removed after the all-new Laboratory air conditioning unit is completed and in Service. 3. PROPOSSED: Contractor will provide and install all new Laboratory HVAC System as outlined in Specification 23.16.00 x General G1.1 x Project Data + Keynote x Architectural x A1.0 Demolition Reflected Ceiling Plan x A1.1 First Floor Plan + Reflected Ceiling Plan x Mechanical x M001 Mechanical Specifications x M101 Mechanical Schedules x M200 Mechanical Plans x M300 Ductwork Details 4. All damaged sheetrock will either be replaced and or repaired back to the original state. 5. Contractor shall phase work to not interfere with the working hours of the Laboratory. This may require work to be done after closing hours and weekends. All times must be approved by DPS prior to start of work. 6. All work must meet and comply with the latest Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) Title II accessibility guidelines and will require review and approval from Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (“TDLR”). 7. Provide turnkey project as indicated on the drawings and as required to complete project.
