Specifications include, but are not limited to: Rhode Island Public Transit Authority is accepting proposals to conduct its drug and alcohol testing and associated services for the period of April 1, 2024, and (4) four annual renewals, if exercised at the sole discretion of the Authority. RIPTA will consider proposals from those vendors experienced in occupational medicine and regularly engaged in the business of drug and alcohol testing in compliance with the following federal regulations: 49 CFR 40: Procedures for Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs. 49 CFR 655: Prevention of Alcohol Misuse and Prohibited Drug Use in Transit Operations.
