Specifications include, but are not limited to: Revenue received from the sale of auctioned property should be no less than 50% for sales up to $1,500 Revenue received from the sale of auctioned property should be no less than 75% for sales greater than $1,500 The County shall not incur any fees for the transportation or shipment of property to be auctioned unless approved in advance for extra-large and/or bulky items (i.e. heavy farm equipment, airplane, helicopter, or tractor trailer) The vendor should have experience with, and be able to accommodate all items of evidence that need to be auctioned (i.e. tools, vehicles, guns, jewelry, electronics etc.) It is desired that the vendor provide the number of registered bidders on their site The vendor should be able to demonstrate their knowledge of state, federal, and local laws concerning the handling of evidentiary items The vendor should have a Federal Firearms License (FFL) or be able to demonstrate a working relationship with a FFL holder The vendor should respond to requests for evidence pickup within a week of the request The items should be picked-up by the vendor within the agreed upon time period which would ideally not be more than 1 month The vendor should provide all services from asset evaluation and pick up, through post auction accountability (at a minimum this should include the actual auction and delivery of auctioned items). All services provided should be specified in the proposal Vendor should provide a clean and complete audit trail for every item auctioned Services may be requested up to four (4) times per contract year
