General 1.1 Material placement attachment for road widening, paving, shouldering and aggregate dispensing 1.2 Attachment shall have 2 side exit chutes, one(1) left and one(1) right 1.3 Shall be capable of applying shoulder material at widths 12” ‐ 48” 1.4 Attachment shall not exceed a total weight of 3,500 lb. 1.5 Attachment shall come with a universal mounting plate to accept standard skid steer or compact track loader mounting systems 1.6 Power Source: power supplied by hydraulic system of host equipment (skid steer, compact track loader, tractor loader backhoe, motorgrader); 1.2. Conveyor Drive System 1.2.1. The conveyor shall be driven by a hydraulic motor 1.2.2. The conveyor drive roller shall be coupled to the motor via chain and sprocket system 1.2.3. All drive components, i.e. sprockets, chains, etc., shall be completely shielded by a removable cover 1.2.3.1. Conveyor drive shall not be accessed without removal of drive cover 1.2.4. Conveyor head and tail drum shall be held in place by external flange‐type bearings, each flange bearing with a grease fitting. 1.2.5. Conveyor head and tail drum shall be 10 inch in diameter 1.2.6. Adjustable conveyor belt shall have manual adjustment; 1.3. Conveyor Feed 1.3.1. The conveyor belt shall be capable of reversing direction 1.3.2.
