Wertz’s Covered Bridge Stair Replacement 1.1.2.2.1.1. Perform demolition of existing stairs and properly dispose of the removed materials. 1.1.2.2.1.2. Provide all survey / layout work for the new stair posts. Review layout with Owner prior to excavation for posts. 1.1.2.2.1.3. Provide all excavation for the post installation. Provide all concrete footing pads and crushed stone backfill as noted on the plans. 1.1.2.2.1.4. Provide all pressure-treated wood posts, framing, stair tread and risers, platform decking and railing / guard framing. Provide all aluminum handrails and brackets at stairs. 1.1.2.2.1.5. Provide all final grading at the bottom and top landings using stone screenings to match the existing pathways. Provide all final grading around project area to restore existing bank grades
