The scope of work for this project shall involve a mandatory pre-bid inspection of the roof for the purpose of evaluating the condition of the existing roof. Following the pre-bid inspection, we are requesting contractors to propose a solution for roof repair and/or replacement to provide a long-term solution to prevent water intrusion into the Courthouse. In addition to the proposed solution for the roof replacement and/or repair, we are also asking for an extended warranty and maintenance contract to ensure the long-term integrity of the repair. Contractor shall include manufacturer’s specifications and warranty on the proposed roofing materials, as well as a list of projects similar in nature where this product has been utilized. The roof area of the project is approximately 7200 square feet, less approximately 1520 square feet of the dome and clock tower, for an estimated remaining roof area of 5688 square feet. As indicated by drawing attached here to as Exhibit “A”. Proposal shall detail on how the replacement and/or repaired roof will integrate with existing roof drainage structures and down spouts.
