Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. NPC reserves the option to award the whole or parts of the project to one or more qualified contractors. 2. Contractor is to supply all HVAC equipment according to specifications outlined in Appendix B. 3. Contractor will install new freon lines from indoor unit to outdoor unit in accordance with acceptable practices. Contractor will supply and install low voltage wiring from furnace to condensing unit. Building Automation Controls to furnace will be supplied and installed by NPC. 4. Contractor is to supply all materials, expertise, and labor to install HVAC equipment. 5. Contractor will supply and install sheet metal ducting and other materials to modify existing ductwork to accept new HVAC equipment, and to modify supply and exhaust ducting. Contractor will make connection of existing ductwork to new HVAC equipment and through roof as necessary. 6. Contractor will supply all material and labor to connect gas and electric from units to current utility locations. Contractor will supply all material and labor to connect venting through the roof and all condensate drains to existing drains. 7. Contractor will assist NPC in the startup of new equipment. Contractor will warranty his installation workmanship of HVAC equipment for 1 year from date of installation. 8. Contractor will complete this work in 30 business days. 9. Suppliers may choose to propose a percentage discounts for the entire catalog. 10. Contractor will provide all insurances including general liability, auto liability, and worker’s compensation with proposals for award consideration (Attachment 3). 11. The College is an active member of the Strategic Alliance for Volume Expenditures (S.AV.E.) Cooperative agreement. Under this Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, and with the concurrence of the successful Offeror, other members of this organization may access any subsequent agreement/contract resulting from this solicitation. If the Offeror does not want to grant such access, it must be stated in their Proposal. In the absence of a statement to the contrary, the college will assume that access is granted by the Offeror to any subsequent agreement/contract. 12. A price list of all services must be provided with proposal for evaluation and award consideration.
