Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers solicitations for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for a Contractor to create three (3) different training presentations for the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) School Health Program (SHP). Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this Solicitation. To be considered for award, Bidders must submit a comprehensive Response which includes all required information and documentation as outlined in this Solicitation to ensure the Bidder meets all requirements, possesses the required experience and qualifications and has the capacity to provide the goods and related services described in this Solicitation. See Appendix A, Submission Instructions and Response Checklist. The required services to be provided are three (3) different training presentations for the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) School Health Program (SHP). Department of State Health Services (DSHS) School Health Program (SHP) seeks a contractor to create three different training presentations: 1. The first training topic shall be centered around the School Health Index (SHI) Assessment and the Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program (CSPAP). 2. The second training topic shall provide guidance on establishing and operating a School Health Advisory Council (SHAC). 3. The third training topic shall focus around creating school policies on stocking unassigned medications for K-12 school personnel, as well as members of local SHACs. The contractor shall conduct at least four (4) School Health Index (SHI) and Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program (CSPAP) training courses and (2) different workshops. 1. The first workshop shall focus on establishing and operating a SHAC. 2. The second workshop shall focus on creating school policies on stocking unassigned medications. The target audience will be K-12 school personnel and members of the local School Health Advisory Councils. Through evaluation of the delivered trainings and requests from school districts, additional training courses or workshops may be added in subsequent contract years. 3. The training and workshop classes shall be provided in-person and through real-time virtual training sessions. Contractor will work with and obtain approval from DSHS to schedule the training or workshop classes.
