Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Kansas Department of Corrections is seeking bids for a Perimeter Detection System and install for the Kansas Juvenile Corrections Center (KJCC) located at 1430 NW 25th Street, Topeka, KS 66618. Fill out a background check for each employee to enter the facility, prior to the project start. The check will be the standard FBI background check and DCF check for child abuse. Allow approximately 2 weeks. PREA training class required, allow 4 hours for this class. All cost for the checks will be covered by the KJCC. No blue jeans are allowed; black jeans are permissible. “Muscle man” type shirts are not allowed. No red hats. Cellular phones are not allowed; the foreman may have one cellphone or pager. A complete tool inventory is required, and may be inventoried by KJCC staff at any time. If a tool is missing, it needs to be reported immediately to the Owner. Tools to be secured each night in a locked box. No ladders shall be left unattended and shall be padlocked at all times when not in use. There shall be no staging ropes or safety lines left hanging to the ground at any time. All padlocks shall remain locked at all times, whether in use or not.
