Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide 40 hours per week of onsite services to justice involved youth (pre and post adjudicated) at the Wyandotte County Juvenile Justice Center. • Conduct substance abuse evaluations/assessments for youth and young adults. • Provide substance abuse education/prevention session(s) as needed for youth and young adults. • Provide Level I and Level II outpatient treatment (individual and/or group) for youth and young adults. • Provide Youth Level I and Level II outpatient treatment (individual and family based) • Provide liaison services for youth and young adults to enter Residential/Intermediate Treatment when appropriate. • Provide aftercare and/or reintegration services treatment for young adults and youth, (or liaison to appropriate program.) • Participate in scheduled juvenile court hearings relating to clients, provide progress updates for court staff. • Document client attendance, participation, progress, changes in treatment plan, etc., to the supervising officer or his/her designee at designated intervals in a designated format. • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation on all clients served. • Create substance abuse related educational and resource material for parents/guardians of justice involved youth and young adults. • Provide professional guidance and resources to justice system workers during youth and young adult case planning meetings as needed. • Keep current on new drug trends in the community, and work to educate justice professionals. • Participate in task forces or committees to attempt problem solving regarding substance abuse issues.
