Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Atlanta Independent School System (hereinafter, “Atlanta Public Schools” or “APS”) invites qualified contractors to submit proposals to provide disposal of surplus and obsolete equipment services. Contractors shall provide quotes to bid on a collection of APS equipment as it is prepared to be released. The pool of contractors will be required to submit quotes for departmental review to select the quote that is most advantageous to provide the requested services. The contractor must manage the transportation, sale, and retrieval of APS surplus and obsolete assets. All property is sold “as is.” APS makes no warranty, guarantee, or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability, workmanship, or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Upon request, contractors are expected to transport metal from the IT Warehouse. Upon request, contractors may be required to provide multiple dumpsters and deliver them to designated locations.
