Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development (DWD) requests Bids for the rental of a conference facility in the Milwaukee, La Crosse, Green Bay, Wisconsin Dells, Rothschild or Elkhart Lake area of Wisconsin for three (3) days for the 2025 Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards (BAS) Biennial Apprenticeship Conference and intends to use the results of this process to award a Contract(s). The State does not guarantee it will purchase any specific quantity or dollar amount. Bids that require a minimum number of commodities or services be ordered will be rejected. There will be no guarantee to purchase any specific quantity or pay any minimum contract price during the term of the Contract. The 2025 BAS Biennial Conference is held in-person every two (2) years and has many goals; including an address from the DWD Secretary thanking stakeholders for their continued participation and dedication to the Wisconsin Apprenticeship system, to provide networking opportunities, and give stakeholders up-to-date information on new and updated topics. The conference is designed to appeal to a broad audience as it showcases new, ground-breaking and exciting developments in apprenticeship, inclusive of Registered Apprenticeship, Youth Apprenticeship, and Certified Pre-Apprenticeship. An estimated 600 stakeholders and staff will attend. BAS is interested in holding the conference in the Milwaukee, La Crosse, Green Bay, Wisconsin Dells, Rothschild or Elkhart Lake area of Wisconsin.
