Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services shall include: 1. Contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to complete these services. EXCEPTION: FMPS personnel will provide belts and automatic greaser cartridges. 2. Contractor to follow LOCKOUT/TAGOUT standards and isolation regulations. 3. Contractor to perform the following maintenance work on each tower and provide a detailed written report describing the work completed, noting any cracks, leaks, worn or broken parts with recommendations for repair. a. Clean fill media with low pressure washer, clean and flush basin, remove any scale/deposits from basin, clean basin strainer, check water level and fill tower to normal operating level with city water, if necessary. Clean water level probes of any buildup and adjust float, if necessary. b. Check sheaves, bushings, fan shafts, fan hubs, and blades for cracks. c. Check shaft bearings and install new automatic greasers on bearings. Automatic greaser cartridges provided by FMPS. d. Install new belts and check belt tension. Belts provided by FMPS. e. Check oil level in gear box reducer with unit stopped, inspect for leaks, and check couplings. If oil is below normal operating level, add oil to manufacturer’s recommended level. Replace existing oil with new, if there are signs of water intrusion. f. Check heater elements for cracks and clean any buildup on elements. g. Clean hot water crossover basin and pans. h. Inspect vibration switch enclosure for cracks and moisture intrusion
