Specifications include, but are not limited to: THIS IS STEP-ONE OF A TWO-STEP PROCUREMENT PROCESS. Step-one consists of a Request for Qualification (RFQ), in which CFISD will evaluate and shortlist qualified respondents to participate in the second step of the selection process. Step-two consists of a Request for Proposal (RFP), in which shortlisted respondents will be invited to provide responses through their assigned agent(s). Companies will be assigned to each shortlisted respondent to its’ prospective market(s). At the end of the two-step procurement process, CFISD will enter into a contract with reliable, credit-worthy insurance companies at a lowest possible cost; while agents continually consult with CFISD regarding suitable coverage, loss control, and other insurance-related subject matters.
