Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of New Orleans (“City”) solicits bids to obtain a requirements contract for Janitorial Services Cluster 3. • Pontchartrain Park Senior Center is required to have (1) part-time daytime cleaning person. • Andrew Pete Sanchez Multi-Service Complex requires (1) full-time cleaning person during the daytime operations of the Healthy Start Suite located on the 1st floor and the WIC/HS/BCHS Suite located on the 2nd floor. • Deep cleaning and floor maintenance must be done after 5:00PM unless it is requested and approved to be done during normal business hours. Any outside policing of grounds, picking up trash, sweeping, and pressure washing may be done before 5:00PM provided it does not interfere with public access to the buildings. • Arrangements must be made to obtain security clearance, for the janitorial personnel involved. • To accomplish the stripping, sealing, and waxing of large areas, it will occasionally be permitted to have this type of work extended later into the night or be performed on weekends. All work must be scheduled by email with the Janitorial Contract Manager. • At all buildings, at least eight (8) man-hours are required during the daytime operations of the building; it should be especially noted that there are meeting rooms and auditoriums at these facilities and when events are scheduled at night and during the next day, or on Saturday or Sunday, the contractor will be required to provide special cleaning services during and between the events to make sure that the areas used is in proper condition for the next event.
