Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this ITB is to establish a contract to return degraded agricultural land to stage zero wetland-stream complex by grading the project area to a 1% grade-line, placing large wood across the project area, and filling existing ditches, for the benefit of the Department of State Lands (the “Work”). The project area (“PA”) is located in the South Slough Reserve in Charleston, Oregon. The PA is accessed via Hinch Rd, off Seven Devils Road. The PA lies within the Wasson Creek watershed, labeled on maps as Theodore Johnson Creek, and constrained between Winchester Creek to the east and a constriction in the valley to the West. Based on hydrology and project requirements the floodplain is divided into three zones: Main Valley Upper, Middle, and Lower. Earthmoving will occur in the Main Valley Lower and Middle zones and log placement in the entire Main Valley. The Work includes, but is not limited to: • Road repair • Excavation and fill • Grading • Tree tipping and relocation
