a. 3/8” Laminated Security Glass, made up of the following elements: i. One layer clear annealed glass, PVB interlayer, and one layer clear annealed glass laminated into one piece. ii. All glass and interlayer products are to be manufactured in the United States with proof of manufacturing location required. b. Security Glass shall comply with 16 CFR 1201, Category II c. Security Glass shall comply with ASTM C 1172 d. Security Glass shall be permanently marked with certification label of the SGCC or another certification agency acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction. Label shall indicate manufacturer’s name, type of glass, thickness, and safety glazing standard with which glass complies. e. School Guard Glass TM shall not be provided as a substitute product f. Surface applied film shall not be provided as a substitute solution g. ADD ALTERNATE: Armoured One 5/16” Shooter/Attack Resistant Security Glass, Non-Rated: AOTSG516. h. Bidders requested to provide pricing (cost ADD) for using Armoured One product at each location. (See bid form.) i. All install requirements specific for Armoured One use shall apply.
