Specifications include, but are not limited to: i. Remove existing turf, subgrade and existing irrigation system. Field must be graded to avoid water pools. Removed dirt, turf and irrigation material to be legally disposed of offsite. Field is approximately 101,607 sq. ft. Actual footage to be verified on job walk. It is the District’s desire to utilize the existing soil to achieve the necessary central crown/slope and to bring outer edge of soil level with the curb. Central crown/slope must run the entire length of the field to allow for water runoff. The slope must be ¼-inch per foot from the center of the field to the sidelines. ii. Design, provide and install new irrigation system, including all new: 2-inch Rainbird (or equal) valves, schedule 40 PVC lateral lines, and Rainbird Falcon (or equal) sprinkler heads, and wires to achieve 100% irrigation coverage of the field. All to be connected to existing controller. All fittings must be schedule 80 PVC. The mainline will not be replaced. iii. Provide and install two (2) new valves on either side of the field located at the 50-yard line. iv. Provide and install new sod. New sod must be Hybrid Bermudagrass. Sod must be level with curb around track. See pictures provided in “Site Overview & Logistics”.
