Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Coordinate all phases of the contract with the Project Manager at the Salcha-Delta SWCD office in Delta Junction or by phone at (907) 750-8139. • NOT suspend work prior to completing contract without Project Manager’s approval. • Have approval from Project Manager that work was satisfactorily before removing equipment from the job site. • Wash all equipment prior to coming to the work site. • Pursue work in a timely fashion. • Repair any damage to road base during project activity (i.e. ruts or gouges from unloading/loading of equipment). • Conduct all fueling and fluid activities in the designated fuel area. • Prevent soil contamination from fuel or fluids by using acceptable containment devices (i.e. drip pans for parked equipment, absorption pads for fuel spills). • Properly dispose of waste fluids and trash. All such materials are to be hauled off the project site. In case of accidental contamination, it is the contractor’s responsibility to notify the proper authorities and ensure that contaminating wastes are properly removed.
