Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4. 1 DAILY – INSIDE THE LIVE-FIRE RANGE AND AIRLOCK • Vacuum with HEPA Vacuum only • Mop all floors. • Remove spots, stains, and all foreign matter (gum, smudges, stickers, etc.) from floors. • Wipe all wall surfaces, up to a height of 8 feet tall horizontal and vertical surfaces utilize Surface Cleaning D-Lead All-Purpose Cleaner or “equal”. Sweeping and/or dust mopping is prohibited. • Vacuum blast shields and lower angled surface of the bullet trap using the HEPA vacuum. • Vacuum the airlock entry area using the HEPA vacuum. Be careful to use only the vacuum hose in the airlock and do not bring the vacuum base into the airlock. • Clean windows and door glass with glass cleaner. Fingerprints or handprints and other smudges left on glass surfaces will not be accepted. • Emptying the HEPA vacuum and replacing the plastic liner every month or as needed. • Dispose of all trash and targets. 4.2 WEEKLY – INSIDE THE LIVE-FIRE AND AIRLOCK • Clean live-fire range floors with automatic floor scrubber (using a pad no harder than blue, Contractor provided) • Clean other horizontal surfaces using a solution of water and D-LEAD Cleaning Solution (1- part D-LEAD to 20 parts water “or equal”). Be exceedingly careful to not spill water, waste water, or cleaning solutions during transport in and out of the utility room (water source) and the shooting range. 4.3 SEMI-ANNUAL – BEHIND THE BULLET TRAP • Vacuum all surfaces of the area, on top, underneath, and behind the bullet trap, and on filter housing using the HEPA vacuum. • Damp mop floor using a solution of D-LEAD (1-part D-lead to 20 parts water) in water. • Replace the refuse bag (poly-liner) on the HEPA vacuum. • Remove and properly dispose of all protective gear before entering other parts of the building.
