Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor Staking: The contractor will be responsible for maintaining all centerlines on the road to be reconstructed. The edge of pavement and work limit layouts will also be required for each operation. McLean County Highway Department will provide centerline points every 500ft to the contractor to be used for layout. Pulverization: This pulverization shall take place at the full width (13 ft) of the existing road. Pulverization will be 4” in depth. Aggregate Base Course, Type B: The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and spreading 2” of aggregate base course on top of the pulverized material. This shall be CA-6/10 (crushed limestone only), placed at the full width of the roadway, and will be shaped, watered, rolled and compacted (pnuematic and steel drum rollers) to the satisfaction of the Road Commissioner. Cross slope shall be 2% maximum.
