Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City seeks proposals from qualified firms and/or individuals to perform the following services: • Community Engagement: Prepare visuals and present the proposed designs at up to four (4) community meetings to gather feedback and address concerns. For the purpose of this solicitation, public meetings are included during the Collaborative Scoping and Design and Construction Administration tasks; • Establish Right-of-Way Constraints and Requirements: Perform survey of the Project Area to establish City-controlled rights-of-way boundaries; identify encroachments; and identify other property ownership within or along the Project Area; • Collaborative Scoping: Engage in a collaborative scoping exercise with CNO DPW staff, City agencies, and external stakeholders to determine and confirm the preferred alignment, design scope and materials for the project; and • Design and Construction Administration: Complete design development, bid documents, and construction management services for the extension of the Lafitte Greenway anchored by a shared use path. The proposed extension of this facility should be aligned within the City’s existing rightof-way or acquired property in a manner that provides safe, engaging, and logical connections to the surrounding corridor. The Lafitte Greenway Extension should complement the original goal to provide high quality, environmentally sensitive open space and recreational, educational and cultural amenities that cohesively integrate with the existing facility.
