Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Spring Clean Up Spring Clean-up is to be completed no sooner than the first week in May in 2024. Spring Clean-up is to be completed if the first week in April 1 of 2025, and 2026. This work is to consist of cleaning the property of all trash and leaf litter from the properties. Edging all beds and tree ring edging maintenance. B. Mulch Each property shall receive a fresh coat of three (3) inches double ground premium once a year after the spring clean-up has been completed. Contractor must coordinate this work with COD Buildings and Grounds manager or supervisor before work begins. Pre-emergent will be placed in planting beds and tree rings once a year before mulch is placed. COD Buildings and Grounds will need to approve of the proposed product before application. C. Mowing Weekly mowing should be done in a neat and uniform manner. A weekly mowing schedule is to be maintained except only in the case of minimal growth (less than an inch), due to hot weather or insufficient water. Contractor must inform COD buildings and Grounds of any intention not to mow. A cutting height of 3.5” will be maintained and any excess grass clippings on site shall be removed, hauled off site, and disposed of by contractor. All sidewalks, curbs, tree rings, flower beds, and drives are to be line trimmed/ edged on a weekly basis and will maintain a sharp edge look on a weekly basis.
