Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bidder to provide trained technicians to perform testing and any associated diagnostic tests for all accessible peripheral devices listed and currently connected and listed as part of the associated facility Fire Alarm Control Panel system including: • (2) fire panels – 4100U and 4100+ • (82) pull stations • (100) Smoke detectors • (17) Duct smoke detectors • (59) AV Horn/strobes • (19) Heat Detectors • Transponder • Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC) • Annunciators • Water Flow Detectors • (11) Tamper Switches • AHU input, relays, and other equipment Test will be scheduled in advance with the Transit Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or designee. Annual testing to include: • Inspection of control panels, warning lights, sound alarms and sensors per California Fire Marshal Code. • Visual inspection of all alarm equipment for obstruction or physical damage • Removal of dirt and dust from interior and exterior of panels and pull boxes as needed • Conduct operational test of initiating and signal transmitting devices in populated buildings by building zone/area; for those circuits which do not operate properly check detectors; control units, and annunciators for dust or defective components; make minor adjustments as required • Check battery voltages where installed; replace as required • Conduct operational test of spot type heat detectors and smoke detectors
