Specifications include, but are not limited to: The prospective bidder shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the reconstruction of approximately 2,150 feet of Sea Street from Coles Pond Road to the beach parking lot, and the reconstruction of the beach parking lot. The general scope of work for road and parking lot reconstruction shall include the excavation and removal of the existing asphalt pavement, granular base and subgrade(as required), the installation and compaction of a dense graded crushed stone base & reclaimed pavement sub-base(as required), placement and compaction of a hot mix asphalt binder course and a hot mix asphalt top course, the installation of new drainage structures, granite curb, & precast retaining walls, the installation of guardrail, the restoration of road & parking lot edges, and the paving of driveway aprons to match the roadway and parking lot finish grade, complete in place, as described in the specifications. All repair work and traffic management shall be performed in accordance with the design plans and specifications.
