Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Remove and dispose of the existing split system (DX) Condenser and evaporator coil. • Remove and dispose of existing copper air conditioning lines. • Install a new 40-ton chiller where the current condenser is. (Chiller may be YORK, TRANE, CARRIER) The voltage is to be the same as the current DX unit. • Install a new chilled water coil where the current DX coil is. (The coil is to be the same size as the DX coil, 40 tons). • The installer will utilize the current condensate pan and drain. • Indoor coil to be sized (physical) and ordered by installing contractor with airflow and water flow is taken into consideration. IF THIS IS NOT DONE CORRECTLY, THEN JOB WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED • Indoor coil to have a drain at the bottom of the coil with valve and ¾ hose connection with cap. • Install new water piping between the chiller and the new indoor coil. Water piping to be 3 domestic steel, with welded, thread or grooved ends. • Piping will have a Belimo 2 ½ inch full port 3-way valve with 0-10 24v modulating Belimo actuators installed at the indoor coil. • Install a new 65-gallon buffer tank/air separator indoors on the return line to the chiller. • Install two (2) outdoor-rated vertical inline pumps (factory pumps incorporated with the chiller are acceptable) on the return line to the chiller. 100gpm/50ft HD • All piping is to have 2” insulation, exterior with aluminum jacket, interior may have PVC or aluminum wrap. • All piping in to have proper support per industry standards
