Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Tempe (“City”) is issuing this Request for Quotation (“RFQ”) to establish a term contract for the purchase of salvage vehicles to be used in the training of Firefighters. 1. Delivery, pickup and disposal of salvage vehicle 25 Each; 2. Towing Services to move conex boxes or large equipment on City property. 1 Each; Responsibility of the Awarded Firm Delivery of vehicles to the Tempe/APS Joint Fire Training Center, 1340 E. University Drive, Tempe, AZ 85821. Pickup the destroyed vehicles from the Training Center within 48 hours of notification. Proper disposal of the destroyed vehicle. Vehicle Requirements Vehicles need not be operable or mechanically sound. All vehicles must have doors, glass and four (4) tires. All vehicles must have seats and a steering wheel. Vehicle’s gas tank must be removed. All fluids must be drained from vehicle. Battery is to be removed from vehicle. Towing Services Occasionally, the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department has the need to move conex boxes or large equipment within their properly that may require towing services. Please provide pricing if Offeror can offer such services.
