Specifications include, but are not limited to:The purpose of this contract is to provide moving services for Forsyth County Schools, referred to as FCS in this document. The scope of work includes loading, unloading, staging, light assembly, classroom set-up, and clean-up of standard K-12 classroom furniture and equipment. There is potential for occasional need of moving services to remove and dispose of surplus, broken, or damaged furniture and equipment from FCS locations in accordance with FCS policies and procedures. The contract does not include moving services for technology equipment. The awarded contractor shall operate within the conditions set forth in this SOW and RFP P24-04. Deviations or modifications may not be made without written consent from FCS. 4.0 Typical work may include, but not limited to: a. Unloading Truck b. Transporting to staging area or classroom c. Removal of box and/or wrapping d. Discard of all shipping materials as necessary e. Light furniture assembly (if necessary) (Contractor must have tools) f. Placement of furniture within room as directed by FCS g. Clean up
