Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project scope includes the development of a Statewide General Aviation System Plan andNoise Study. The project will provide a system plan in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) Advisory Circular 150/5070-7. The plan will include, but is not limited to, an inventory of the current system, identification of air transportation needs, assessment of aviation issues, defining the airports’ roles and policies, and recommendation of system changes and airport development pursuant to Federal Aviation Regulations Part 161. The project will include the elements listed in FAA Advisory Circular 150/5070-7, Appendix D Checklist for Elements of an Airport System Plan Report. The project will require a special study to acquire data and information regarding community concerns about aircraft and tour helicopter noise to assist in developing a statewide guidance or standards on noise, zoning, or land use compatibility. The estimated project cost is $2,000,000.
