Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor is to remove existing barbed wire fence and gates, clear brush, and install snake rail fence per the attached specifications (Attachment A) and following items: 2.2.1 Contractor shall not disturb any soils with any construction activities, including fence removal, shrub removal and fence installation. 2.2.2 Due to the deed restrictions, no disturbance, removal, or excavation of soils is allowed. If necessary, fence removal must be cut from above-ground as opposed to digging out current concrete or rebar. 2.2.3 Remove and haul approximately 6,221 linear feet of commercial barbed wire fencing with barbed arm six-feet height. 2.2.4 Remove six chain-link gates including three that are on motors. 2.2.5 Remove approximately 1,500 linear feet of brush for fence clearance. 2.2.5.1 The brush removal should be limited to techniques and methods that are above ground such as chain saw, bush hog, mulcher, mower, or similar cut. It should not include grubbing, or removal of the root ball or stumps. 2.2.6 Fence location: Fence location shall be in accordance with the attached Attachment A. 2.2.7 Construct Snake Rail Fence of approximately 3,865 linear feet. 2.2.8 Fence angle: 90-degree angle, but angles will vary based on curves and topography of land. Refer to specifications for construction. 2.2.9 Fence height: shall be five to six rails in height. 2.2.10 Fence material: shall be cedar rails. Cedar rails shall be purchased from Haney Sawmill to match fencing at neighboring Stones River Battlefield 2.2.11 Rail dimensions: Three-to-four-inch diameter rails, 120-inch length, 5/8-inch diameter hole at 12-inch offset with 96 inches spacing between holes. 2.2.12 Install three 20-foot panel gates at the three entrances of the property. 2.2.13 Fence shall not be located within any easements, including 20-foot Repurified Water Easement and 20-foot Sewer Easement...
