Specifications include, but are not limited to: Save the Sound (STS), in partnership with the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG), is soliciting prequalification submissions and then proposals for the investigation, analysis, engineering design, and permitting/decommissioning services for the removal of the Kinneytown Hydroelectric Project in Seymour and Ansonia, CT as part of a two (2) phase submission, explained below. This project is being funded by a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Restoring Fish Passage Through Barrier Removal Grant received by NVCOG in partnership with STS in April 2023. A proposal submittal timeline can be found in the RFQ/RFP. Submission of Part 1 (RFQ) is due by April 18, 2024, by 12 PM. For those firms selected for interviews, submission of part 2 (RFP) is due by May 30, 2024, by 12 PM.
