Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Statewide Pedestrian Bride Improvement project is approximately a $12 million Design-Build project and involves various improvements to four pedestrian bridges in several State Districts; two in The primary purpose of the project is to upgrade, repair, or replaces the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) facilities and associated structures at four discrete locations to increase their lifespan and make them more accessible for all users. The improvements include bridge demolition and construction, structure rehabilitation, minor grading and paving for trails, retaining walls, clearing and grubbing, and traffic control. The four bridges under consideration are BR 69885/A at the I35/Mesaba Avenue interchange in Duluth (State District 1), BR 43006 over TH 212 in Glencoe (MnDOT District 8), BR 19025 over TH 52 at Lewis Street (State Metro District) and BR 62804 over I-35E at United Hospital (State Metro District). Approximate Project cost: $320 million.
