East Accessible Access. Provide directional signage to the south entrance. Building exterior walls on all 4 sides materially matches the property lines so there is not room for a ramp. Both the building and property is approximately 30’ x 140’. Widen sidewalk landing on the strike side of the south entrance approximately 18” as shown with 4” Concrete on 4” gravel. At the east entrance there is a 5” riser and a 9” riser. Replace concrete stairs to be 7” risers with 11” min. tread. c. Exterior Painting. See A1.1. See existing reference photographs on A3.1. Painting includes Brick, Block Wainscot, Stucco System over existing concrete frame, fascia/roof flashing. Protect existing east historical sign for future use and remove existing north and south wall signs prior to painting. Paint specification for bidding is noted on A1.1 for both masonry and metal. d. New Windows. See both A1.1 and A5.1. Note that the east windows have 4 different levels of protection to be bid with alternates. Base Bid Tempered. Alternate: Laminated Glass. Alternates: 2 different security films are called out. e. New Doors. See A1.1 and A5.1. Note: Door 3 swing will need to be changed to swing out and Doors 1, 2 and 3 will need new door frames and hardware as noted. Doors 4 and 5 have motors noted.
