Specifications include, but are not limited to: LVVWD has recently purchased a vacant office building at 330 South Valley View Boulevard. The building was built in 1983 and is 166,400 square feet and had been used as the headquarters for a major telecommunications company. Most recently, the building has been unoccupied with tenant improvements being removed and left with a largely open floor space. LVVWD is desirous of a space planning/facilities consultant to analyze the existing occupied office spaces and interview select staff to develop a needs assessment for the various divisions of the utility for the next 20 years, re-imagining the work spaces to accommodate a post-COVID work environment (employees working in the office, remotely, or a combination of both), while recognizing the needs (fleet, warehouse, shops) of a large water utility, with the end goal to be a space plan that will best to utilize the vacant building at 330 South Valley View Boulevard. There is a desire to co-locate a childcare facility for use by LVVWD and other governmental agencies in the downtown Las Vegas area. SNWA owns seven floors of the Molasky building, of which LVVWD leases space. SNWA and LVVWD are open to selling or sub-leasing any or all of the Molasky space. Existing information that will be provided to the consultant: • Current floor plans for all buildings • Recent Campus Assessment for all Valley View buildings (code analysis) • Current organization charts.
