Specifications include, but are not limited to: The goal for this RFI is to establish any interest in providing specialized services for Utah’s longest waiting children via contract with an organization that can: • Supply specialized recruitment for high needs youth. • Work with Division of Child and Family Services (“DCFS”) staff to identify youth who need specialized recruitment. • File mine for potential connections in a youth’s past. • Network nationally to find and recruit families. • Maintain web-based media to manage youth in need of families. • Plan events locally and state-wide to provide information on adoption. • Participate in nationally organized events promoting adoptions and connections for youth in care. • Partner with national and local organizations that can assist in providing Utah’s longest waiting children with families and mentors who help build connections, or find adoptive families for these youth. • Use evidence-based programs that assist in preparing families for adoption. • Can fund raise to help with the cost of services to youth and families. • Provide these services state wide.
