Specifications include, but are not limited to: Football Field 90,000 SF • Apply roundup on existing field to kill existing turf. For best results this needs to be completed 2- 3 weeks before start of construction. • Locate and disconnect existing irrigation leaving Point of Connection, pump, and backflow in place. • Sod cut existing sod off the surface and stockpile for haul out. • Excavate and haul out sod spoils to be disposed of offsite. • Rough grade field to +- 1” of finished grade elevations shifting field “Crown” over approximately 7’ to center of field. Price does not include rock excavation. • Design build of fully automatic irrigation system with complete head-to-head coverage. New equipment to be provided including controller, electric valves, wiring, piping, swing joints and irrigation heads. Contractor to provide as built drawing of irrigation system after completion of system. Prior to construction provide irrigation design to owner for review. • Lasergrade surface to +- ½” of finish grade elevations and slopes. • Harley rake all disturbed areas to remove debris/rocks and prepare for sprig/sod installation. • Apply preplant fertilizer and pre-emergent weed control prior to sprig/sod installation. • Provide and install TiffTuff Tahoma sprigs to cover approximately 90,000 SF of surface. Area to be Sprig if ready before June 15. Provide an alternate price to sod approximately 90,000 SF with TiffTuff Tahoma. • Provide grow-in and maintenance for a period of 8 weeks. Includes 2 fertilizer applications and 2 weed control applications to provide a healthy weed free stand of Bermuda. • Provide daily water management and adjustment for 8-week period until turf matures and is fully established. • Topdress field with 4 loads of sand approximately 3-4 weeks after sod installation. • Roll field with 84” 1 ton turf roller approximately 3 weeks after sod installation. • Mow field 8 times during grow-in period. • Remove construction debris and clean up all disturbed areas after construction is complete.
