Specifications include, but are not limited to: The service work consists of waterproofing the Administration and Education buildings located at 3600 E. Mohawk Blvd., Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74115. Both buildings are experiencing water intrusion through old pipe penetrations, cracks, and cold joints in the walls and floors. All work shall be performed during normal business hours on Monday through Friday, except with express written consent from the Plant Superintendent. The Mohawk Water Filter Building was initially constructed in 1924 as the initial facility with filter bays. In 1994 the filter bays were filled in, and the building was repurposed as an Administration Building. The center work area of the bays is approximately 24 feet wide by 102 feet long or approximately 2,500 square foot area. The center work area walls are approximately 13 ft tall based on the documents, elevation 593.0 to 606.5 and a perimeter of 252 feet. The wall surface is approximately 3,275 square feet, which totals a combined floor and wall area equal to 5,775 square feet of surface area. The Pumping Station was originally constructed in 1954 as the initial facility was repurposed in 1994 into an Education Building. The northern portion, used for education purposes, has shown water penetration. The basement level of this northern portion is approximately 6,300 square feet. The walls are approximately 320 lineal feet by 14 feet to the current finish floor with a fill extending above the basement ceiling of approximately 5 ft. A previous contractor in 2022 attempted to waterproof both buildings using Loxon Concrete & Masonry Primer Sealer and Loxon XP waterproofing Masonry Coating. The contractor applied one coat of each product on only the walls up to 8 feet high.
